September 2022 walk

September’s walk for 2022 will be a bat walk around Ludlow castle and  Whitcliffe common.

Please note this will be on the 3rd Sunday of the month rather than the Sunday following the group meeting

Details of the meet up location are as follows; Meet at 7pm on the 18th September in front of Ludlow castle, in market square by the cannon.
Torches will be needed. The guided walk will be along paths and pavements and will last between 1-2 hours.
The walk will be led by Phil Playford from the Shropshire bat group. Phil will give a brief talk before we set off round the castle, down to Dinham bridge, along the bread walk, down to Ludford bridge and then back through Ludlow to the starting point.

Note : attendees are expected to come with suitable footwear and attire for the weather and local conditions
