August 2022 walk

August’s walk for 2022 will be a dragonfly walk around St. Michael’s and will be lead by local expert Mike Averill
Meeting at 1pm parking at far end of Oldwood Common, parking in Lion’s Den on right (going from Tenbury to St Michaels) at SO58505 66064 closest postcode WR15 8TG or, if that area is full, a little further on in large lay-by on left just before St.Michael’s at SO5842 6596.
The walk will be across the common to Cadmore Lodge, up the Valley past Newhouse Farm and back to the cars, about 3 miles in all. There are only 2 styles with a number of gates to go through.
Bring binoculars, walking boots, hat and sunscreen and drinks + snack
Walking 1-2 hours plus dragonfly watching and searching so allow 3-4 hours, 3-4 miles
Please note the earlier start time for the walk.
Note : attendees are expected to come with suitable footwear and attire for the weather and local conditions
