June 2022 walk

June’s walk for 2022 will be around the Roman Bank at Wenlock edge and will be lead by group committee member Tony Simpson

Meet location as follows: Driving, turn off the Corvedale road at Hungerford, up through Upper Millichope and park near crossroads at SO521908. The nearest post code is SY6 7ED.

The walk will take you through traditionally managed hay meadows with flowers including orchids, along Jack Mytton Way, on part of Wenlock Edge. Then down along bottom of bank towards Rushbury and then loop back up to the start. Distance 3-5kms depending on how far people want to go and some slopes if completing full distance, but mainly level walking.

The meet up time will be 1:45pm for a 2pm start. The end time varies with the walk length but will normally be around 4pm.

Note : attendees are expected to come with suitable footwear and attire for the weather and local conditions
