Herefordshire’s Ice Age ponds

In a change to the previously publish details May’s talk will be given by David Hutton who manages Herefordshire’s Ice Age Pond Project.
The Project aims to save the area’s unique glacial ponds. These incredible heritage ponds were created around 20,000 years ago during the last Ice Age, when woolly mammoths were still roaming the area. Remarkably many of these ponds still exist today! David will talk to us about the ponds and the work being done to restore them.
