Travelling through the Brazilian Pantenal, Borneo and Guyana
February’s talk will be given by Tom Mabbett from Naturetrek. In this talk, Tom will tell us about the experience of travelling through these special destinations in search of wildlife. From late night spotlighting in the Bornean Rainforests searching for Clouded Leopard, finding Jaguars in the Pantanal, to searching for Golden Rocket Frogs in the giant tank bromeliad plants surrounding the mighty Kaieteur Falls. Tom will also cover habitats of these areas, how we explore them and the general experience of travel in these often very remote destinations.
