April 2020 talk Cancelled

In line with latest advice regarding social distancing during the Corona virus outbreak the two meetings advertised for April and May have been cancelled. We will be monitoring the situation and will keep you posted regarding the June and subsequent meetings during what we expect will be a very volatile few months. I and the committee thank you for your continued support and hope to see you all healthy and well later on in the year.

This months speaker is Suzanne Noble from British Orchids a local company that provides orchid plants together with advice on what and how to grow orchids to get the best from your plants.
Suzanne discovered her passion for orchids after a chance conversation with Phil Seaton in 2013 and hasn’t looked back since. You may remember that Phil came and gave us a talk on the fasinating world of orchids back in January 2019. Suzanne will bring the topic closer to home showing us how we can bring these fascinating and dazzling plants to our own gardens, meadows or orchards.
Suzanne will be bringing a selection of orchids for sale during the evening. 

The main speakers talk will last around an hour. There will then be a break for tea, coffee and biscuits (included in the entry fee). Any announcements will then be made and finally the evening will finish with a short talk, on a topic of their choice given by one the group members.
